InlineShield Sign-up fraud screening for online casinos and sportsbooks
Before the account. Before the bonus.

Stop bonus abusers and bots at the sign-up form.

InlineShield screens every new player registration in real time and tells your team exactly what to do with it: let it in, hold it for review, pay no bonus, ask for KYC, or block it.

What it protects you from

Four kinds of bad sign-up, one check

Each check can be switched on or off per site in your console, and every decision comes with the reasons behind it.

Bonus abuse and multi-accounting

One player, many accounts, one welcome bonus each.

  • Same inbox, many accounts. Gmail dot tricks (j.ohn = john), plus-addresses (john+1), googlemail and case variants.
  • Duplicate-inbox history. Recognises a mailbox that already signed up on your site, under any alias.
  • Machine-made addresses such as qmfu97kya77@ or user7710525@, typical of bulk account farms.

Fake and throwaway emails

Accounts nobody can contact, verify or hold to account.

  • Disposable and temporary mail from public blocklists.
  • Brand-new temp-mail domains, caught by checking the mail servers behind them before any list knows them.
  • Subdomain tricks and domains with no mail servers or weak email authentication.

Bots and scripted sign-ups

Automation that creates accounts by the hundred.

  • Browser automation: headless Chrome, Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright.
  • Scripts posting directly with curl, Python and other HTTP tools.
  • Inhuman speed and an invisible honeypot field only bots fill in.

Risky networks and locations

Players hiding where they really are.

  • Tor exit nodes and commercial VPNs. Apple iCloud Private Relay users are deliberately not penalised.
  • Datacenter and cloud IPs (AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner and others), where real players almost never sign up from.
  • Location mismatch: the browser's time zone isn't used in the IP's country.

Repeat offenders

The same attacker coming back after a block.

  • Automatic IP lockout after repeated blocked attempts.
  • Country, city and network shown for every sign-up, with the IP masked on screen.
  • Your own allow and block lists for domains you trust or never want.

Your team's time

Fewer manual checks, clearer decisions.

  • Review queue to approve or reject held sign-ups, each with its reasons.
  • Webhooks and API so verdicts flow straight into your back office.
  • Fail-open or fail-closed, your choice, and a full audit trail of every decision and setting change.
What you get back

A recommended action for every sign-up

Not just a score. InlineShield tells your system what to do next, so promotions and KYC follow automatically.

allow

Clean sign-up. Let the player in with the full welcome offer.

allow_no_bonus

Probably fine, but elevated risk. Open the account, hold back the bonus.

review

Held for your team in the review queue, with every reason listed.

require_kyc

Approved after review, but ask for identity documents before any payout.

block

Disposable email, honeypot or clear bot. Refused before an account exists.

How it fits in

Live in an afternoon

Step 1

Add the script

One line on your registration page. It measures how the form is filled and reports browser automation, without fingerprinting the device.

Step 2

Check on your server

When the form is submitted, your backend asks InlineShield for the verdict. It answers in milliseconds.

Step 3

Act on the result

Allow, hold, skip the bonus, require KYC or block. Held sign-ups wait in your review queue; webhooks tell your systems the outcome.

How it performed in testing

33/ 33

Attacks caught, 0 real players held

Our attack suite throws realistic fraud at a live InlineShield site and checks every verdict.

0.15%

False alarms on real names

We tested the machine-made-address check blind on 676 real-person email addresses from about 45 countries, including Armenian, Georgian, Kazakh, Chinese, Vietnamese, Nigerian and Polish names, plus gamer tags. One was held for review; none were blocked.

Flagged addresses are only ever held for a human decision, never blocked automatically.

Results from InlineShield's internal testing in October 2026, not an independent audit. Your mix of players and attacks will differ, which is why every check has its own switch.

Privacy by design

Strong screening without tracking your players

No device fingerprintingNo persistent identifiers are created or stored about your players.

Your data stays yoursEmails are compared only within your own sign-ups, using a one-way key, never across operators.

No third-party AIDetection runs on InlineShield's own servers and data; player details are not sent to outside AI services.

Masked on screen, exportable on requestIP addresses are masked in review screens. A DPA is available, with full data export and deletion.
